Fede Vidal: “This European Championship is showing that there are no favourites”
Great hit: “Everything has been accompanying. We knew it was going to be a very complicated game, we had talked about it the last time and well, we started off having chances, it seemed that the ball didn’t want to go in again and, fortunately, we managed to open the scoring. We have been very consistent in all facets of the game and little by little the result has been expanding. It was a great game for everyone”.
Dominance in a vital match: “The main thing is success. It’s a game in which you risk your life and that’s the way it is from now on in all the games we’re going to play. Let’s hope it stays that way. I think that from the beginning we have gone for the victory and well, luckily we have not had that tension or that pressure that could be assumed for a match of these characteristics. We have mastered the concept very well.”
Quarters against Slovakia: “It will be a very tough match as everyone is. This Euro is showing that the level has risen a lot. Not only are there no favorites for the lathe, but there are no favorites for any game. We know that if we want to reach the semi-finals we have to play a perfect game”.
Solano and Adolfo: “All very good for the group. The two have fit perfectly. They are very common players in the National Team who handle our game model very well and have been very useful. Congratulate them on the match, logically”.
