The collision between the stations Frankfurt-Rödelheim and Frankfurt-Westbahnhof happened on Wednesday evening, as the federal police announced on Thursday.
According to her own statements, she is currently assuming an accident. It was initially unclear why the 19-year-old was on the tracks.
The engine driver had not seen him, but according to the police he noticed a hit on his locomotive, stopped the train in Rödelheim and alerted the emergency control center.
