Official, List of 29 Indonesian National Team Players for 2022 AFF U23 Cup Preparation

KOMPAS.com – There were 29 players called up Shin Tae-yong to attend training camp Indonesian U23 National Team approaching 2022 AFF U23 Cup.

Indonesian U23 National Team will take part in the 2022 AFF U23 Cup tournament in Cambodia from 14 to 26 February 2022.

Young Garuda joined in Group B with Malaysia, Myanmar and Laos, in the tournament.

In preparation for the tournament, the Indonesian U23 national team will have a training camp (TC) under the direction of coach Shin Tae-yong.

The South Korean tactician has summoned 29 players for the TC agenda this time.

A number of players who had strengthened the senior national team, were again called Shin Tae-yong.

Those among them are Alfeandra Dewangga, Primary Arhan, to Marselino Ferdinand and Ronaldo Kwateh.

In addition, there are also new names such as Kakang Rudianto, who just scored a goal in his debut match at Persib Bandung.

PSSI General Chair Mochamad Iriawan hopes that the preparation of the U23 national team will go well so that the championship target can be achieved.

“We hope that with good preparation, Indonesian National team can win the 2022 AFF U23 Cup,” said Iriawan, as quoted from the PSSI page, Tuesday (1/2/2022).

“With these players who are called on and always work hard, be disciplined and focused, PSSI is sure that this will be achieved,” he added.

The man who is familiarly called Iwan Bule also advised the U23 national team to maintain health protocols during the TC.

“We continue to support the coach coach Shin Tae-yong’s program for the achievement of the Indonesian national team,” he said.

“We also advise all players and officials to always maintain the progress while in Bali,” said Iwab Bule added.

The Indonesian U23 national team training camp will be held in Bali from 3 February.

Garuda Muda will be boosted for a week in Bali before leaving for Cambodia around 10 February.
