Police officers stopped a VW Passat with Lithuanian license plates early Sunday morning at around 2.20 a.m. on Brielower Landstrasse. When checking the 28-year-old driver, officers noticed the smell of alcohol. In a voluntary breath alcohol test, the man blew a value of 1.31 per thousand.
The police also found that the man was driving without a valid driver’s license. In the Brandenburg police inspection, a blood sample was taken from the 28-year-old by an on-call doctor. The alcohol sinner had to leave his car behind.
