- Go to Reels in the Facebook app and find the role you want to download. To find reels you’ve posted, tap your profile in the top right corner and look at the My Reels tab.

- Choose Copy link.
- Visit an online video downloader website such as fdown.net (or use whichever you prefer).
- Paste the link in the Facebook Video Link box and click Download.
- Long press “Download HD Quality Video” and select “Download Linked File” to save the reel.

- Once the download is complete, open the Files app and navigate to Downloads.
- Open the downloaded reel file and tap the Share.
- Beat Save Video to save the Facebook reel video to the Photos app.

Easy way to download your own reels from Facebook
Not many people know that the Facebook app has a built-in option to download your own Reels video. The only downside is that reels downloaded using this method will be saved without music if they use audio from Facebook or Instagram music library. However, movie sequences with original sound are saved with music in your camera roll.

- Open the Menu tab in the Facebook app and tap Reels.
- Tap your Facebook profile picture in the top right.
- Under ,My Reels‘, open the reel video you want to download.
- Tap the ellipses button (3-dot icon) in the lower-right corner.
- Choose Download reel.
That’s it. The scroll is now in your phone’s local storage and you can view it in Gallery or Photos app.
