Tomine Harket (28) got off to a tough start in reality life when she arrived at “Farmen kjendis” this week.
Harket came to Bøensætre farm as challenges together with celebrity chef Ole Martin Alfsen (52), and the two had to fight over which of them should keep the place as a full-fledged “Farmen celebrity” participant. For only one of them could stay, and which of them was up to the others.
But even before the election, Tomine Harket really got to feel the intense farm life on her body.
After only one day at the “Farmen kjendis” farm, the 28-year-old broke down in tears – and she told Nettavisen earlier this week that she actually considered withdrawing.
However, she chose to stay, and also became one of the challengers who were allowed to stay on the farm. Nevertheless, Harket was chosen as the first champion, and in Sunday’s duel she breaks out after being overtaken by second champion Kjersti Grini (50) in the sledgehammer.
– It’s going well. I really tried my best. Smoking is, of course, very, very awkward. But I did everything I could, so I feel like I won anyway, she says in Sunday’s episode.
– Cried almost every day
Harket tells Nettavisen that she did not come close to being chosen as first champion right after arrival.
– I know that there is no one there who has anything personal against me – but that they were in such a tactical mode. They had decided in advance, and they also told me, she says.
But even though she’s out of “The Farm Celebrity”, Harket’s reality adventure is not over. Like previously eliminated participants, the 28-year-old also travels to the nearby “Torpet” – where the goal is to fight his way back to the TV farm.
The online newspaper can not reveal how long Harket’s stay at “Torpet” will be, but Harket does not hide that it was strange when she finally came home after the intense recording.
– As soon as I got home, I cried almost every day for a week because I missed it so insanely much.
– It took many weeks before I managed to get used to feeling so calm, it is a very special thing that not many people get to experience. You only get that if you go back in time. So it’s great that I got to experience it, says Tomine Harket.

Difficult to adjust
The longing for the farm came despite the fact that Tomine Harket’s “Farmen kjendis” start was not the best.
As mentioned, Harket broke down after only one day on the farm, and told Nettavisen that Harket felt that it was a feeling of being trapped that triggered the tearful reaction on the farm.
– It hit me very hard how intense the well-known “reality bubble” is. Several of the participants I knew from before were very different in there, and it got a little scary. When I woke up that morning, I actually panicked a little at the thought and the feeling that I was “stuck” in there and did not get away, Harket said earlier this week.

When she finally returned home, however, it became difficult to return to “normal” life again.
– It is difficult to adjust both when you come in and when you come out. You have a feeling that only those in there understand you. That only they know you, she says.
– So I missed the “Farm celebrity” life very much, she adds.
