For the cheapest petrol you have to go to Fuel Up in IJmuiden. There you buy (now) a liter of euro 95 for 1,879 euros per liter, according to figures from comparison sites Independer.nl in Tankje.nl.
The shared second place goes to the Tango gas stations in Beinsdorp and IJmuiden. Here euro 95 costs 1,889 euros per liter. The Tango gas stations in Heemstede and Zaanstad complete the list. They ask 1,899 euros for a liter of euros 95.
Russia
Tensions at the border between Russia and Ukraine are pushing oil prices up further. Markets are anticipating that Russian oil and gas exports will slow down if tensions get out of hand, for example because of economic sanctions by the west.
The suggested retail price for a liter of diesel also set a new record on Saturday at 1.84 euros. Filling stations are not obliged to use the suggested retail price, they can offer lower prices themselves. Many gas stations do that too.
