The hospitals currently care for 1154 people with corona, according to the most recent figures from the National Coordination Center for Patients Spreading (LCPS). That is 25 more than a day earlier.
There is still a slight decrease in the intensive care unit. There are now 209 patients with corona on the ICs, four less than 24 hours before. That is the lowest number since October 28 last year. Ten new corona patients were admitted to the ICUs last 24 hours. That is about as many as the daily average of new IC admissions from last week. Because more people died or were allowed to leave intensive care units between Saturday and Sunday, the total number of people with Covid-19 who occupy an IC bed fell.
945 patients with corona are now being treated in the nursing wards, 29 more than a day earlier. The occupation in the clinics has fluctuated in recent days. For example, the number of corona patients decreased on Wednesday and Thursday, but the occupation will increase again from Friday. Last 24 hours, 140 new people with corona were admitted to a nursing ward.
