Seven people have again been arrested in the Sterrebos in Born in Limburg. According to the police, they were present in the forest, which is not allowed, or they could not identify themselves.
Seven activists were also arrested last day. In the Sterrebos there are still about fifteen activists in trees. They don’t want landowner Nedcar to cut down part of the forest to expand the car factory there.
The protesters stay in the trees all night, sleeping in their hammocks. Police say they will not clear the forest. The detainees were taken to the police station.
