Before the Impact Match
Singles Match
Laredo Kid defeated Blake Christian (fka Trey Baxter) via pin after the Spanish fly.
Match time: 7:28
Main Show:
Tom Hannifan and Matthew Rehwoldt welcome us to the latest issue of Impact Wrestling and share pictures of Honor No More, who have been wreaking havoc at Impact lately. Then Chris Bey and Jake Something enter the ring for the first match of the night.
1. Match
Singles Match
Jake Something defeated Chris Bey via pin after Into The Void.
Match time: 9:20
Something doesn’t have much time to celebrate, however, as he is immediately attacked by the Guerrillas of Destiny (Tama Tonga & Tanga Loa). Something receives support from Mike Bailey, but a rushing Jay White supports the guerrillas and dispatches Bailey. Tonga and Loa then send a word to Doc Gallows and Karl Anderson, they seem interested in the Impact Tag Team Championships!
At “No Surrender” on February 19, Moose will have to defend his Impact World Championship against W. Morrissey. Also, Mickie James jeopardizes the Knockout’s Championship against Tasha Steelz. There is also a non-title tag team match today between The Inspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) and Madison Rayne and Kaleb. The latter takes the place of Tenille Dashwood, who is unable to be there today.
Honor No More (Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis, Vincent & PCO) now make their way through the audience to the ring. However, this was previously taken by a few Impact stars in the form of Rhyno, Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann, Chris Sabin and Josh Alexander to defend their home. Rhyno tells security to let the guests in because they want to send them home quickly. However, Scott D’Amore objects and clarifies that Honor No More does not represent what Ring of Honor stands for. Maria Kanellis demands a chance for her team, but D’Amore refuses because they don’t deserve a chance. Rhyno intervenes again and declares Honor No More deserve a beating. D’Amore is persuaded and schedules a 10-man tag team match between the men in the ring and Honor No More for “No Surrender”. If the former Ring of Honor representatives win, they should stay with Impact Wrestling. But in the event of a defeat, they should be careful not to be stabbed in the back by the slamming door. Also in today’s Main Event PCO will face off against Chris Sabin!
Madison Rayne and Kaleb prepare for their match against The Inspiration, with Kaleb disappointed that it’s not a title match. Rayne clarifies that their match today is to research and scout the competition to have an advantage once Tenille Dashwood returns and they get their title match. Just don’t let Kaleb screw it up.
Scott D’Amore shows Honor No More her “dressing room” in a storage room. Cary Silkin also enters the room and is disappointed by the five who want to represent Ring of Honor.
2. Match
(Non-Title) Intergender Tag Team Match
Impact Knockout’s Champions The IInspiration (Cassie Lee & Jessica McKay) defeated The Influence (Madison Rayne & Kaleb) via a pin by Cassie Lee on Kaleb after a roll-in.
Match time: 7:39
Jake Something thanks Mike Bailey for the support earlier in the evening. There are also Ace Austin and Madman Fulton. Austin wants to prove they can trust him. Bailey gives them a chance to prove themselves, as they still have some work to do with the BULLET CLUB. Austin hesitates a little and explains that you can’t just start matches here, you have to talk to management about that. Coincidentally, this is in the form of Gail Kim, who overhears and immediately schedules an 8-man tag team match between those present and the BULLET CLUB for next week. Austin doesn’t seem particularly happy, but neither do Bailey and Something seem convinced of Austin’s intentions.
“The Quintessential Diva” Gisele Shaw is set to make her Impact Wrestling debut soon.
Karl Anderson and Doc Gallows meet Violent By Design (Eric Young, Joe Doering & Deaner). They explain that they all have a problem because BULLET CLUB is in the house. Young objects that the problem is not one of his group. The Good Brothers say they have previously supported VBD and now it is time to reciprocate their support. In addition, BULLET CLUB have expressed an interest in the Tag Team Championship, which of course should be a thorn in VBD’s side. Gallows and Anderson want to destroy the BULLET CLUB once and for all, and Eric Young gives in and pledges his support.
Gail Kim is now in the ring while all members of Knockout’s Division have surrounded the rope four. Kim greets Impact Knockout’s Champion Mickie James in the ring. This praises the members of the Knockout’s Division, because this division is as strong as it has been for a long time. She talks about Knockout’s Tag Team Champions The IInspiration and reigning Impact Digital Media Champion Jordynne Grace, among others. The women’s first Ultimate X match also took place. Deonna Purrazzo should also be mentioned, because while she is the worst person James has ever seen, she is at least the third best Impact champion of all time. Purrazzo objects and clarifies that this segment is an absolute waste of time. So she leaves the hall. Mickie James takes the floor again and makes it clear that she will also make history herself on Saturday. As the reigning Knockout’s Champion, she will compete at the WWE Royal Rumble, and if she wins at WrestleMania, she not only wants to jeopardize a title match, but her Knockout’s Championship at the same time. Chelsea Green respectfully interrupts and clarifies that it’s not a question of if Mickie James wins the Rumble, but when. She lists James’ achievements and politely asks to be the first to get a shot at the Knockout’s Championship after the Rumble win. Tasha Steelz, accompanied by Savannah Evans, now interrupts the two and clarifies that she will take the title from James at “No Surrender” and that there will therefore be no title match for Chelsea Green. A brawl follows between Steelz & Evans and James & Green, which the latter can win and empty the ring.
Steve Maclin stands by Gia Miller and questions the validity of the Pure Rules because after all these are rules of Ring of Honor while this is still Impact Wrestling. Jonathan Gresham arrives and invites Maclin to another match, but this time not for his title and without Pure Rules. Maclin, of course, accepts.
We see Jordynne Grace defend her Digital Media Championship at Terminus against Kiera Hogan. With Gia Miller, she now responds to Matt Cardona’s challenge. She respects Cardona for its pioneering role in social media and therefore accepts it.
Earlier in the evening Brian Myers hired a total of nine wrestlers and presented them as a new class in his learning tree. These will now take on W. Morrissey, while Myers himself takes his place at the commentary booth alongside two old acquaintances.
3. Match
9-vs-1-Handicap Match
W. Morrissey defeated The Learning Tree (VSK, Zicky Dice & 7 other wrestlers) via pin after a powerbomb.
Match time: 2:31
Brian Myers then confronted Morrissey in the ring and slapped him across the face. Morrissey fights back and threatens a chokeslam, but Moose gets in the ring and attacks Morrissey. Myers’ students also get in the ring and attack Morrissey, but Morrissey knocks them all off and clears the ring. Only Moose is still on his feet and hits Morrissey with the spear.
Raj Singh has signed a new talent who will debut on Impact next week. Bhupinder Gujjar is one of India’s greatest talents. John Skylar arrives and complains that he isn’t getting the chance Singh’s men are getting, prompting Singh to promise him a match against Gujjar next week.
Dan Lambert is spotted in the audience.
4. Match
Singles Match
JONAH defeated Johnny Swinger via post-tsunami pin.
Match time: 1:17
JONAH then throws Swinger out of the ring, who is visited by Decay in the form of Rosemary, Crazzy Steve, and Black Taurus, who gather around him. Meanwhile, JONAH leaves the hall and keeps a close eye on Black Taurus.
A Digital Media Championship match awaits us next week, in which Jordynne Grace will put her gold on the line against Matt Cardona. In addition, we can expect a rematch between Jonathan Gresham and Steve Maclin. Ace Austin and Madman Fulton will team up with Jake Something and Mike Bailey and take on BULLET CLUB (Chris Bey, Jay White, Tama Tonga & Tonga Loa).
5. Match
Singles Match
PCO (w/ Honor No More: Matt Taven, Mike Bennett, Maria Kanellis & Vincent) defeated Chris Sabin (w/ Rhyno, Eddie Edwards, Rich Swann & Josh Alexander) via pin after a full nelson sitout powerbomb.
Match time: 11:46
– After Eddie pulled a leg off Edward’s PCO, Edwards plus Rhyno, Swann and Alexander were banned from the hall by the ref.
Honor No More then storms the ring and wants to attack Sabin, but Edwards, Swann, Rhyno and Alexander return to the ring and free it from Honor No More. Finally, Vincent has to take Alexander’s ankle lock before the show ends.
