According to the ‘Vaccination Strategy against COVID-19 in Spain’, the Junta de Castilla y León advances during the next week in vaccination with a booster dose (third dose), arriving in some cases, such as in the capital and in the health centers of San Pedro Manrique, Ágreda and Almazán, to people in the age group of 20 or more years, that is, those born before the year 2002.
To receive this souvenir vaccine, those interested must go with their DNI and health card or mutualist card. People sick with COVID-19 or those who are in quarantine should not go to be vaccinated. Those who have already received the mRNA booster dose of the vaccine, those who have received the last Pfizer or Moderna vaccine in the last five months or AstraZeneca or Janssen less than three months ago, or people vaccinated with Janssen and with a dose add-on from Pfizer or Moderna.
As for people who have passed COVID-19, the administration of this third dose is recommended five months after infection, although the minimum interval is four weeks.
For the vaccination point in the capital, three appeals have been published for next week. On Tuesday the 1st, those born up to 1997 can go to get vaccinated with a booster dose; on Wednesday those born until the year 2000; and on Friday those born up to 2002. Residents of the rest of the province’s municipalities can attend these appeals from the capital, if necessary.
Remember that the vaccination point of the Santa Bárbara Hospital is located in the External Consultations building, at the back of the center (new facilities).
Regarding these calls, vaccination will be accessed on the day and in the corresponding time slot, according to the published calls, depending on the year and month of birth. All the posters of the appeals can be consulted at the link https://www.saludcastillayleon.es/es/covid-19-poblacion/vacunacion-covid-19/lugares-vacunacion/soria.
Regarding first doses, for those who are interested in starting their vaccination schedule, inform that an appeal is planned for the afternoon of February 7 (Hospital Virgen del Mirón), coinciding with second doses already scheduled or repeats. However, if someone is interested in receiving that first dose or taking up a second dose, they can get information at the Virgen del Mirón Hospital, by calling 975 220 850 (ext. 38511).
