A 22-year-old Polish soldier was found shot dead on the Polish-Belarusian border. According to preliminary data, the tragedy occurred as a result of a shot from a service weapon.
On Thursday, January 27, the Polish edition reported the news. The deceased was serving in the 9th Tank Cavalry Brigade. As noted, the young Pole died in the line of duty.
Journalists specified that the version of suicide is being considered. The tragedy occurred near the Polish village of Belovezha. A pedestrian and bicycle Polish-Belarusian border crossing operates 4 km from Bialowiezh.
According to the material, an ambulance service was called to the scene. The circumstances of the execution of the soldier will be investigated by the Military Police under the supervision of the prosecutor’s office of the Polish city of Bialystok. The journalists added that the serviceman’s family was informed about the tragedy, psychologists worked with them.
