Los Angeles Clipper catching up
A day after the biggest comeback in their history, the Los Angeles Clipper also came from behind against the Orlando Magic. Despite being 14 points down in the meantime, the Clippers around Isaiah Hartenstein still managed to win 111:102 against the Magic around the brothers Franz and Moritz Wagner.
Franz Wagner was the best thrower of the game with 21 points, but he was unable to prevent his team’s 40th defeat of the season. “We fouled too much in the last quarter,” said Wagner.
Loss for Brooklyn Nets
The Brooklyn Nets slipped to fourth place in the Eastern Conference. This was due to the 118-124 loss to the Denver Nuggets and the Cleveland Calaviers 115-99 to the Milwaukee Bucks. Cleveland is now third behind leaders Miami Heat and the Chicago Bulls, who beat the New York Knicks 110-96.
The Nets were without the injured Kevin Durant, Kyrie Irving, who was ineligible to play due to a lack of vaccination, and James Harden, who was given a break to rest a minor injury.
The Charlotte Hornets’ 158-126 win over the Indiana Pacers was the NBA’s highest-scoring game of the season so far. The Hornets hit 24 three-pointers. LaMelo Ball had 29 points, 13 assists and 10 rebounds for his fourth triple double of the season.
