Rescue crews are looking for 39 people who are said to have been in a boat that capsized on Saturday night off the coast of Florida, the US Coast Guard states.

The Coast Guard was notified of the incident after a man was rescued when he “clung to a capsized boat” just over 70 kilometers east of Fort Pierce, the Coast Guard in Miami tweeted on Tuesday.
The survivor said he left the Bahamas with 39 others Saturday night and that bad weather led to the boat capsizing.
None of the passengers must have had a life jacket.
The Coast Guard further announced on Tuesday that their crews are actively searching for people in the water by plane and boat.
The Coast Guard suspects that the passengers were victims of human traffickers.
On Friday last week, the Coast Guard rescued 31 people from a boat that had capsized eight kilometers west of Bimini.
