Czech two thousandths appeared at internet auctions, which are sold for much more than their nominal value. See how you know if you’re not carrying treasure in your wallet. Last week, a ten-crown coin from 1993 was also sold for a record half a million.
Czech banknotes with Ema Destinnová are currently being sold for several times their face value. Numismatist Jan Jelínek explained what is rare about them.
“This is an E-series, reportedly only about 12,000,” he said. The E-Series banknotes date back to 2007.

The prices of the two thousandth in auctions and e-shops currently range from about eight to almost 20,000 crowns. But it also depends on the condition and other details.
But a ten-crown coin from 1993 was sold for much more money last week. It even broke the record for this coin at the auction, it sold for more than half a million crowns.
