Governor of West Java (West Java), Ridwan Kamil (RK) tweeted about the National Capital (IKN) of the Archipelago in the middle of his name being included in the head of authority exchange. Members of Commission II of the DPR RI, the PKS faction, considered Ridwan Kamil worthy of leading IKN Nusantara.
“Kang RK deserves to lead IKN,” said Member of Commission II of the DPR RI from the PKS faction, Mardani Ali Sera, to reporters on Monday (24/1/2022).
However, Mardani said: Ridwan Kamil still have responsibilities towards the citizens of West Java. He hopes Ridwan Kamil completes his position as Governor of West Java.
“But West Java is also the province with the largest population in Indonesia. West Java needs to be a champion. Complete West Java is useful for 50 million people,” he explained.
Furthermore, Mardani assessed Ridwan Kamil have the competence to lead IKN Nusantara. He added that Ridwan Kamil also has a good track record in the field of architecture.
“There is competence and has track record“said the chairman of the PKS DPP.
However, according to Mardani, whoever will lead IKN Nusantara, there will be bigger challenges.
“But whoever is given the mandate to manage IKN has a big challenge,” he said.
Ridwan Kamil Expected to Lead IKN Nusantara
The name Ridwan Kamil is predicted to be a candidate for the leader of the National Capital of the Archipelago. Moreover, President Jokowi had revealed the criteria for a candidate for the leader of the new capital city.
In a meeting with several editors-in-chief of the national mass media, Wednesday (19/1), Jokowi had mentioned that the candidate for the leader of the State Capital must have experience in leading the region. And, have an architect background.
Recently, Ridwan Kamil uploaded a post about the State Capital, the Archipelago. He captures aspirations about hope in the new capital city.
