Miguel Á. Martinez. Tula de Allende.- At a work table, Councilor Alejandro Álvarez Cerón asked Mayor Manuel Hernández Badillo to follow up on the request of the State Health Secretariat (SSH), to donate land where the new facilities of the Health Center of the municipal seat will be built.
Previously, the hospital occupied a building located on 5 de Febrero Street, on the corner of Manuel Rojo del Río, which was rendered unusable after the floods last September in the center of the city and nine towns in the Toltec Capital, the dispensary suffered up to four floods per year, up to half a meter high in the rainy season.
To avoid the above, the Ministry of Health intends to build the new health center in a high area, where there is no risk of suffering from the flooding of residual liquids.
At the request of the assemblyman, the local Executive responded that the Health Secretariat, through the Sanitary Jurisdiction III, had already made contact with the city council, who asked for a property that is located between the parking lot of the José María de los Reyes municipal auditorium and the whereabouts of the attached public transport.
The legal trustee, Lilia Ibáñez Cornejo, who said that this space is not feasible because there is no legal certainty and proposed to think of other options. Álvarez Cerón then said that other alternatives could be the polygon where the parking lot of the Hidalgo Comprehensive Rehabilitation Center (CRIRH) is located or a space in the DIF Crestón area, to the west of the municipality.
Finally, the legal representative of the administration asserted that the CRIRH parking lot is very small and that the Crestón land is for the exclusive use of the DIF, so they will have to think of other options.
