Maxi Bindrum, Julia Metzger, Yannick Müller and Johannes Reusch start the new year with new personal bests
The start of the new year couldn’t have gone better for the Schweinfurt weightlifters. On the fourth day of competition in the 2021/2022 Bayern-Liga season, the leaders of ESV Munich-Neuaubing were guests at AC 82 Schweinfurt. After an exciting duel, the lifters of the AC team were able to get all three points in the table.
New personal bests were achieved by Maxi Bindrum with 54 kg in the snatch, 74 kg in the clean and jerk, 128 kg in the duel and 56.0 relative points, as well as Julia Metzger with 55 kg in the clean and jerk and 95 kg in the duel, and Yannick Müller with 151 kg in the clean and jerk, as well as Johannes Reusch with 133 kg in clean and jerk, 239 kg in a duel and 56.2 relative points.
In the “Men -109 kg” category, Yannick Müller improved his previous Lower Franconia record in clean and jerk from 143 kg to 151 kg.
With 82.0 relative points, Jana Fleischmann achieved the highest score for the AC team. The second highest number of points was achieved by the lifting doubles Lena Bindrum (snatch) and Yannick Müller (clean and jerk) with 65.5 points.
The strongest lifter of the encounter was Marina Markovic (EVS Munich-Neuaubing) with 99.0 relative points.
Due to the victory, the AC 82 Schweinfurt slipped from 5th place to 4th place after the 4th day of competition.
