Breaking news West Ham linked with shock move for Everton striker Dominic Calvert-Lewin valued at £60m and would be ‘massive statement’ from Hammers
West Ham would make a ‘massive’ statement if they could sign Dominic Calvert-Lewin from Everton.
The Hammers have been linked with a shocking move for the Toffees striker.
The Sun claim that Everton want to recoup some of the money from their years of overspending with a price tag of £60m for the 24-year-old.
The report adds that the fee would be too high for West Ham at the moment, but if that changes they will be at the front of the queue.
The striker has played just four times for the Toffees this season, scoring three times, due to injury problems.
Former Chelsea striker Tony Cascarino thinks this would be a great statement of intent from West Ham if they can get over the line.
“David Moyes will know his qualities, obviously, and watched him develop as a player. He loves playing center forward,” Cascarino told Weekend Sports Breakfast.
