US stocks v Friday weakened and all three major indices also ended in the red at the weekly horizon. Benchmarks S&P 500 a Nasdaq Composite showed the sharpest weekly decline since March 2020.
Investors are now concerned about expectations US Federal Reserve maybe already in March will launch raising interest rates, and interest in risky assets also reduces tensions in eastern Ukraine.
Index Dow v Friday lost 1.30% and closed trading at 34,265.37 points, broader S&P 500 fell by 1.89% to 4,397.94 points and the index technological market Nasdaq Composite even decreased by 2.72% to 13,768.92 points. The VIX volatility index jumped 12.74% to 28.85 points and the yield of 10-year government bonds The US fell by more than six basis points to 1.772%.
For the past week, the index Dow decreased by 4.6%, S&P 500 decreased by 5.7% and Nasdaq Composite weakened by 7.6%.
