GenPI.co East Java – The Madiun City Health, Population Control and Family Planning Agency (Dinkes-PPKB) noted that starting in early January, 7 patients had contracted dengue fever.
Head of Madiun City Health Office-PPKB dr. Denik Wuryani appealed to the public to be wary of him.
“Rain is starting to get high, people must also care about dengue fever. The way is to be diligent in cleaning the living environment, don’t let the places get flooded,” he said, Friday (21/1).

Denik revealed, throughout 2021 there were 48 dengue fever patients.
He admitted that he had taken a number of steps to prevent transmission. One of them is by staging fumigation to kill mosquitoes.

Fumigation can be done if there are reports of patients with dengue fever. Health center staff first conduct an epidemiological investigation.
He explained that this fumigation will be carried out if other cases and mosquito larvae are found in 20 other houses.

The activity, known as fogging, was held twice at the same location two weeks apart.
