Musician Oskars Deigelis has introduced a new composition to his listeners. This time the single was made in collaboration with singer Antras Stafeck, but the most interesting thing is that the song is written by Oscar’s sister.
The author of the music and lyrics of the song “Apmātība” is Oscar Deegel’s sister Anita Tīlena, while the arrangement has been entrusted to Jānis Narbutas from the production association “White Wide Production”. The video version of the song was created by Kaspars Dvinskis. “In the context of publishing a composition, it must be said that everything has its time and nothing in life should be rushed. This is an eternal truth that needs to be repeated more and more convincingly. I wanted to record this sister’s song a long time ago and I’m glad it finally worked out. Even before we started working on the recording, I knew that I wanted to invite her to sing Antras with me – I felt that this song would suit her, ”says Deigelis.
“We have collaborated with Oscar to create compositions before, and, as always, he had a clear vision of what the outcome should be. The sound is created in the nostalgic mood of the eighties. The melody is tastefully accentuated by Oscar’s low register and velvety voice, complemented by Second’s soft vocals. The voices of both singers intertwine perfectly and create a pleasing sound to the ears. It was a real pleasure to collaborate with both artists, ”comments producer Jānis Narbuts.
