THE Instagram recently announced that it has begun testing in the US the ability for content creators to create subscriptions to upcoming pages, a feature that, according to the The Information, also started being tested by TikTok.
as it happens with the Facebook social network, TikTok subscriptions will allow users to pay a monthly fee to access exclusive content from their favorite pages. Likewise, this test is only available to a limited number of users.
In reaction, TikTok confirmed to Engadget that testing is taking place on the app. “We are always thinking of new ways to bring value to our community and enrich the TikTok experience.”
