TRIBUNJATIM.COM, PONOROGO – For the sake of pressing Dengue hemorrhagic fever transmission rate (DBD) Pemkab Ponorogo promote fogging and eradication of mosquito nests (PSN).
Head of Disease Prevention and Control (P2P) District Health Office Ponorogo Heni Lastari, said that for Friday (21/1/2022), there were 10 points that were the focus of fogging.
Starting from the District of Balong, District Sambit, to District Ponorogo.
“Since the beginning of the month we have been doing fogging, until today we have almost 40 points,” said Heni, Friday (21/1/2022).
This fogging and PSN was carried out after an increase in dengue cases in Indonesia Ponorogo.
On January 1-20, 2022, Heni explained that there were 53 cases of dengue fever in Bumi Reog.
“Indeed (DHF cases) have increased compared to last year. Because last year’s possibility was not detected. People are afraid when they check with a doctor, they have COVID-19,” he continued.
In contrast to this year, when Covid-19 has begun to slant, many people do not hesitate to check with doctors so that many are detected with dengue fever.
“There is also typhus, ordinary fever. There are other diseases with a decrease in platelets. But what is really DHF is what we carry out an epidemiological investigation and then we report to the provincial government,” explained Heni.
