Sky News reports about 30 elite British soldiers have arrived in Ukraine to help train the country’s armed forces on new anti-tank weapons provided by Britain.
“Members of the Ranger Regiment – part of the newly formed Special Operations Brigade – flew on military aircraft which also flew a total of about 2,000 anti-tank missile launchers into the country during this week,” it said. Sky News, Friday (21/1/2022).
“British reconnaissance aircraft have also been seen as part of the UK’s quiet but important increase in support for the Ukrainian military,” the report continued.
In its report, Sky News cites open source flight-tracking software that has shown British Air Force C-17 transport planes flying back and forth to Ukraine.

According to Sky News “several” flights have taken place since last Monday.
The Daily Mail first reported that the UK had sent 2,000 anti-tank missile launchers in the airlift and this figure was considered accurate.
George Allison, of the British Defense Journal, a website focused on defense news, posted on Twitter the time-lapse of the flights, which he said started on Monday.
