Over the past week I have been asked several times to respond to the messages about The Voice‘, that’s how she starts the message in her Instagram Stories. “I waited to say anything until after watching the BOOS broadcast.” That episode came online today after months of research.
Maan continues: ‘I am very shocked by what has happened behind the scenes. Like many others who TVOH have been involved in recent years, I find it terrible to hear that according to the reports of those involved that have now been taken out, such abuses have taken place. I wish everyone who has been wronged a lot of strength and hope that this is investigated to the bottom.’

On rumors that Maan herself would have had to deal with sexual advances behind the scenes or other cross-border experiences, she says the following: ‘Because stories have also been circulated about me, I want to be clear about this once and for all: in my years at The Voice I’ve never had bad experiences myself. I have never been treated unfairly by anyone and have always experienced it as a safe and positive place when it comes to music.’
“Everyone involved in the program, including the coaches, has always treated me with the utmost respect and there has never been any violation of boundaries, physical overtures or abuse of power towards me,” she continued. She concludes with, “Again, my heart goes out to everyone involved.”
