Freiburg: Court dates – Thursday, January 27th, 2022, 8.30 a.m. ++ Freiburg Regional Court – trial for serious sexual abuse

District court Salzstraße 17, Freiburg, session room IV, 2nd floor, 6 KLs 343 Js 20638/21 (continuation dates are planned for February 8th and 9th, 2022, each at 8.30 a.m.)

A 34-year-old German citizen, who is in custody in this matter, is being tried before the youth protection chamber of the regional court. The accused are charged with, among other things, serious sexual abuse of children in conjunction with bodily harm, sexual abuse of children in 32 cases, production of child pornographic content and sexual abuse of persons in charge in five cases.

In the period from May 2018 to July 2021, the accused is said to have visited a family in Heitersheim at least once a week. He regularly put the 8-year-old boy to bed when the crimes began. The acts of sexual abuse occurred during these visits. In one case, the accused is said to have filmed the crime.

In June 2021, the accused is said to have taken care of two children in a family in Neuchâtel in two cases. He took advantage of this to carry out sexual acts on one of the boys, who was 7 years old at the time of the crime.

In 2019, the accused is said to have performed sexual acts on a 14-year-old boy, whom he met through his work at a youth fire brigade in a town in the Breisgau-Hochschwarzwald district.

From 2016 to April 2018, the accused is said to have chatted with a 12-year-old boy via Whatsapp and sent him pornographic messages. He is also said to have chatted with another 13-year-old boy via Whatsapp in 2018. The messages were also pornographic content.
