A man from Uden has to go to jail for 3.5 years because he sexually abused his two underage daughters for years. The court in Den Bosch has determined this on Tuesday. The 45-year-old man is also no longer allowed to contact his children or other minors.
The man was also on trial for possession of child pornography, because he made images of the fornication. He not only has to go to jail, but also has to be treated for his sexual problems.
The girls let their father know in a previously recorded video that they never want anything to do with him again. They want to get rid of his last name, because according to them it is ‘infected’.
No denial
The man has never denied the abuse after a report was made. According to him, it started after he and the mother of the children separated. The two girls were with him every other week. During the trial, the Udenaar told in calm, calm terms how his eldest daughter had crawled into bed with him and he noticed that this excited him.
This started when that girl was not yet eight years old. Then the touches started and he went on with her step by step. Her younger sister was also abused. The court finds it completely incomprehensible that the suspect stated several times that the sexual abuse was also a pleasant and enjoyable activity for his daughters. He had also urged them not to tell anyone. In this way, according to the court, he also charged his daughters with keeping his offense a secret.
Sex education lesson
In determining the sentence, the court takes into account that the Udenaar placed his own sexual needs above the interests of his daughters, thereby completely disregarding their well-being. It’s not thanks to him that the abuse stopped. This was because one of the girls dared to tell her teacher.
The fornication came to light last spring after a sex education class at school. The oldest victim (now 13) recognized her own situation in a video that pointed to setting boundaries in physical contact.
