In the time since the break-up, as well as her participation in the popular TV 2 program “Skal vi danse” last autumn, the influencer has received hundreds of supportive messages, but also messages that have not been quite as supportive.
Several have noticed the 34-year-old’s body and appearance. It’s something she’s tired of.
On Instagram, Guttormsen clarifies several questions about her appearance, and chooses to “clean up a little” about the small “change” she has gone through in recent months.
– And thank God that we humans change through life. Think how boring it would have been if we had walked around and been the exact same person for the rest of our lives, she points out at the outset.
–
– Do something with yourself
The first thing she considers is the criticism of how she chooses to put on make-up. Guttormsen makes no secret of the fact that she does not see it as a compliment when people tell her that she looks better without make-up.
There is a good reason for that.
– When I wake up to an inbox full of comments on how I look, how I have changed both in personality and appearance, how I should behave and not, and how I should make up and not make up, then it does something with you.
Dagbladet has received permission from Iselin Guttormsen to reproduce the content from the Instagram story.
– To say that one is finer (with or without make-up, editor’s note) is perhaps what I react most to. You have to be allowed to do your thing, and then you never know what lies behind a way people want to express themselves. Be kind always.

– Got a blood clot in my eye
The second point Guttormsen addresses is the body heat she has received. In recent months, the influencer has lost weight, something more people have noticed.
Therefore, she chooses to tell the background story in chronological order, so that people understand the whole picture once and for all.
Guttormsen has been diagnosed with polycystic ovary syndrome (PCOS), which means that there is an imbalance in hormone levels.
– Therefore, you are told to balance the hormone level by, among other things, contraception. So I started on birth control pills at a very young age, which also led to me getting a blood clot on my eye. Therefore, I had to stop using contraception.
She adds that the safest way to keep the disease in check is through the right focus on exercise and diet.

Lifestyle change
The disease made it difficult for her to conceive, because she rarely ovulated.
– When I first got pregnant, I struggled to get back to my normal weight after giving birth. For us women who have PCOS, we put on weight extremely quickly. In addition, it is extremely difficult to lose weight, because the results take three times as long as in a woman who does not have this disease.
After the birth, she got a personal trainer and trained twice a week. It’s something she’s been doing ever since 2012.
– Not just to lose weight, but to change my lifestyle and get into a good routine. And I did.
–
– Life hits you hard in the face
The flu then explains that she had a much healthier lifestyle, as well as a healthier relationship with food, body and exercise, when she became pregnant with her second daughter.
Otherwise, she points out how crises or changes in privacy make it possible to experience weight loss.
– In addition, I operated on my tonsils and then you do not get to eat that much. There are many different factors that affect how one looks.
– Even though I have lost weight, I still have varicose veins, cellulite and sagging tits. More than ever before. But when you go through a breakup with children in the picture, it’s not exactly what you want to offer right then. Then you are very vulnerable and do not want to expose yourself to even more.
Guttormsen says that the focus has been on taking care of his heart, his psyche and not least the two daughters. The change she has gone through now is therefore not a deliberate act, but rather a result of life’s ups and downs, as well as the grief of going through a breakup.
The 34-year-old says in conclusion that she hopes that in the future people will think a little about what they comment on and want to pass on to others.
