Nidji’s Band Performs at JIS, How Does Anies Respond to Ganesha’s Giring Satire?

Anies looked enthusiastic when Nidji appeared and gave a round of applause.

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, JAKARTA — The Nidji group tested the sound of music or cek sound system at the Jakarta International Stadium (JIS). DKI Jakarta Governor Anies Baswedan in a statement story from Instagram-nya confirms attendance band was on Sunday (16/1/2022).

Nidji’s presence at JIS received mixed responses from netizens. There are those who think that Governor Anies’ move is a response to Giring Ganesha’s visit to the location that will serve as the Formula E circuit.

“This is really Sue, why are you making a parody of getting people to sing Nidji, now I’m inviting Nidji without a sleigh, hahaha, you can do it, Anies,” said one netizen via tweet at Twitter.

“This Mr. Anies, you know, jiand. Why does Nidji have to be like that, you know,” he said another netizen.

Anies was seen watching the band, which was manned by singer Giring, from the gridiron. He seemed enthusiastic and gave applause when the band performed. “Nidji tried sound system JIS, “Anies wrote.

Meanwhile, Nidji enthusiastically played music on one side of the stands. One of the songs sung by Nidji is entitled ‘Aku’. “Rest assured me god he’s not mine…”

Previously, former Nidji vocalist, Giring, who is now a PSI politician, once quipped the DKI Provincial Government regarding the implementation of formula E. Giring even visited the location that will be used as the formula E circuit in Ancol, North Jakarta.

“I can’t believe that Jakarta’s people’s money is being wasted like this and this is an ambitious project to run for president, O Allah,” he said who had fallen into the mud. Giring uploaded his visit on Wednesday (5/1/2022).

Giring Ganesha left Nidji in 2017. He chose the political path with PSI. In November 2021, he officially served as the definitive general chairman of PSI.
