The editorial staff of France 3 Pays de la Loire learned with great emotion and deep sadness of the sudden death of Gwenaël Rihet, who died on Friday January 14 at the age of 55.
Gwenaël began his career at France Télévisions in Lille in 1993 as a journalist editor. In 1995, he trained in the camera at INA, he carried out numerous missions at the national editorial office of France 3 as an editor, then as a Journalist Reporter of Images.
He also participated in the production of documentaries, magazines, he collaborated in particular on programs like “Les Maternelles” or “Striptease”.
After several years on fixed-term contracts, Gwenaël was recruited at the local information office in Angers in 2004 as Image Reporter Journalist.

Lover of beautiful images, passionate about culture, Gwenaël worked for many years alongside her partner Eric Aubron and since 2020 with Jérémy Armand then Laurence Couvrand.
