Le Mans FC returns to competition after more than a month off

Barring a last-minute surprise, Le Mans FC will return to the National Championship this Friday evening in Créteil (7 p.m.). The winter break wasn’t supposed to last that long. but two postponements of meetings (Cholet before the holidays and Avranches at the resumption) lengthened the break.

Le Mans goalkeeper Pierre Patron is therefore eager to be there: “Psychologically, we have more energy because we miss the competition. So inevitably, we are, we are at the bottom. When we play the match, we will have to channel this energy well.

A step forward in “attitudes”

Since the last match (defeat on December 3 at Bastia Borgo), nothing has happened, assures coach Cris: “The state of mind is good and I can see it. There are different attitudes : leaders who are starting to show themselves more on the field. Some players who are more aggressive in understanding the game, more attentive. It’s reassuring because the players are progressing, growing. Now, we have to, we have to transfer to matches.”

Le Mans FC is currently 10th, 13 points from the podium and one to two games behind the other teams.
