It looks nice”, presenter Jamai Loman asked Dave during the broadcast, who competed against Gerard Joling, Shirma Rouse and Samantha Steenwijk this week. “I’m blind aren’t I, I don’t know if you have a problem with that. I actually don’t see a shit”, replied the singer, to which Jamai said again: “Well not in itself, because you have to use your ears.”

“I just have those sunglasses on, because I always have,” Dave continued without kidding. “It’s been on my head since I was about four years old. I’ve never had it any other way.” In addition, he also suffers from the light. “I suffer from everything, even things that those sunglasses don’t help with,” he joked.
Dave sang with Lenny Kuhr on Thursday night, something he learned pretty quickly. The two had never met before and that is why the singer was looking forward to the performance so much. “Of course I have the records at home, but I’ve never seen them in real life,” adds The Kik frontman.
