The US embassy was shelled with rockets, a woman and a child were injured

The US Embassy in the Iraqi capital Baghdad has come under rocket attack, Al Arabiya television reported.

Three missiles were fired at the United States mission building, two of which were intercepted by air defense systems. The third rocket landed in a nearby area, allegedly injuring two people – a woman and a child.

The US Embassy is located in the Green Zone, a heavily guarded area in central Baghdad. He has been the target of numerous rocket and mortar attacks, resulting in deaths and injuries, mostly outside the area.
