She doesn’t reveal who “Du Bist” is about, but that the song is a part of her life. “And I really wish everyone had someone in their life that they would dedicate those words, feelings or thoughts to.”
Susanne Schaus has been the singer of the band “Work in Progress” for ten years, which was placed in the BRF1 charts in 2018 with “Starry Sky”. “But some time ago I felt the desire to do something in a different genre of music,” she says. She describes the style as “dance pop”.
“I’ve been learning the keyboard for a year, I’ve played three four chords, that was just an impulse. And then I started writing lyrics to sing and that was pretty much it.” The singer got in touch with Dany Gallo. “I texted him and said, ‘Do you think we could make a song out of this? And he agreed, then we met a few times. Yes, and this is the result now.”
