Selular.ID – The Xiaomi 12 and 12 Pro flagships are ready to be present in the country. This is known from Postel certification and TKDN verification.
Since 2016, the Indonesian government has imposed a 30% Domestic Content Level or TKDN policy for all 4G mobile devices that want to be on the market.
In October 2021, the government set a new amount for 4G and 5G smartphones, namely 35%.
The latest smartphone that has pocketed the Postel certificate and passed the TKDN verification is the latest Xiaomi flagship duo. It was first discovered by MySmartPrice, but currently the list of the two cellphones has been removed from the Kominfo website.
Both smartphones have been sold in the Chinese domestic market since December 2021. But until now there has been no announcement of their circulation to other countries.
In addition to the Postel Kominfo website, both cellphones with the same code also appear on the Ministry of Industry’s website.
The Xiaomi 12 regular (2201123G) and 12 Pro (2201122G) models have received verification with a TKDN value of 36.51% each.
Although it is not certain, the Postel and TKDN certifications indicate that the two cellphones are officially ready to be distributed in Indonesia.
