Arrest of pickpockets in Linz am Rhein

On Wednesday, January 12, 2022, at around 1:10 p.m., there was a pickpocket in Linz am Rhein. A nationally active pair of perpetrators stole the purse from the purse of an 88-year-old victim. As a result, they went to an ATM and withdrew 1,500 euros from the victim’s account. Due to a promptly initiated manhunt, the perpetrators were identified and arrested by the Linz am Rhein police force in the city area. The perpetrators were brought before the magistrate in Koblenz, and both perpetrators were arrested.
