FC Barcelona has announced the line-up for the second Clásico of the season. Although Frenkie de Jong and Ronald Araújo were not officially declared fit at the start of the week, they are both in the starting lineup against Real Madrid.
Xavi’s team will start the Supercopa match against the arch rival at 8 p.m., which will be completed in Saudi Arabia. This is done with three mutations compared to the match against Granada. Araújo, Frenkie de Jong and debutant Ferran Torres replace the injured Eric García and the passed Nico and Ferran Jutglà. Luuk de Jong is again preferred over Memphis Depay in the point of the attack.
Real Madrid will be without the not completely fit David Alaba, who has been left out of the match selection as a precaution. Furthermore, Lucas Vázquez starts on the bench, leaving places in the back for Dani Carvajal and Nacho.
The winner of this match will play the Supercopa final on Sunday. Atlético Madrid or Athletic Bilbao are the opponents.
