Sevilla’s interest gained strength in this market.
The Spanish press reported an alleged rapprochement between Jesús Corona and Sevilla. According to the newspaper “El Desmarque”, the Andalusian club is in “advanced negotiations” to sign the FC Porto winger in this winter market window, in information that gains new contours this Wednesday.
According to journalist Rodrigo Fáez, from ESPN, the Mexican international has a three-and-a-half-year contract waiting, although he emphasizes that there is a lack of full understanding with FC Porto, which could happen in the next few hours. Fáez even writes that Corona’s intention is to be in Seville as early as tomorrow, Thursday, to introduce himself to Julen Lopetegui as soon as possible.
Corona, remember, is at the end of his contract with FC Porto, a club he has represented since 2015/16. This season he lost influence in the team, despite being used in 17 matches.
