Facebook parent Meta Platforms Inc announced the lease of half the tallest skyscraper in downtown Austin, Texas.
In total, its space will consist of 589,000 square feet on 33 floors, of a 66-story building.
“We first came to Austin more than 10 years ago with just seven employees, now more than 2,000 of us are proud to call Austin home. We are committed to Austin and look forward to growing here together, “said Katherine Shappley, director of Meta’s Austin office, in a statement.
The tower known as Sexta y Guadalupe is scheduled to open in 2023, and Meta will offer at least 400 jobs for said headquarters.
