It is the largest and most expensive acquisition ever in the gaming world. Take-Two Interactive, the holding company behind the wildly popular Grand theft auto, Zynga, the maker of Farmville, bought for no less than 11.2 billion euros. “A staggering amount,” says game researcher Lars de Wildt. “But it doesn’t surprise me. Zynga is extremely good at what they do: making mobile games that people keep playing. You can earn a lot of money with that.”
