Freiburg (dpa / lsw) – Because of child abuse in hundreds of cases, a 47-year-old man has been standing before the Freiburg Regional Court since Tuesday. According to a court spokesman, the youth chamber suggests considering a confession of part of the allegations a total imprisonment of six to seven years. There are 108 cases of serious sexual abuse of children between May 2016 and September 2019. The defendant wanted to comment on Wednesday whether such an understanding was an option for him. The public prosecutor is ready to do so.

The prosecution accuses the man of stealing the children’s trust and then abusing them. He is said to have come into contact with a nine-year-old through acquaintances in 2015. The girl often visited him in his apartment north of Freiburg and stayed there. He is said to have abused his victim more than 200 times over the years. Depending on his age, the prosecution charged the man 188 cases of serious sexual abuse of children and 26 cases of sexual abuse of young people. According to the law, you are considered a child up to the age of 14.

In addition, the defendant is said to have sexually abused a second child at least 100 times that he met through the first girl. He also gained the trust of the initially ten-year-old and, above all, had betrayed her in his apartment. For the procedure eight further dates are planned until the beginning of February.
