Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie sentenced to 1 year in prison for drug abuse. The judge declared Nia and Ardi guilty.

Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie were previously demanded by the prosecutor to undergo rehabilitation for 12 months. Apart from Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie, the driver, Zen Vivanto, was sentenced to the same sentence as Nia and Ardi.

Nia Ramadhani et al are believed by the prosecutor in violating Article 127 paragraph (1) letter a of Law Number 35 of 2009 on Narcotics juncto Article 55 paragraph (1) 1st of the Criminal Code.

Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie in their memorandum of defense or pleas asked the panel of judges to reduce their sentences. Nia and Ardi admit that they regret using drugs and promise not to do it again.

However, the results of the verdict this afternoon were far from Nia Ramadhani and Ardi Bakrie. Both were sentenced to one year in prison.

“Criminalized Defendant I Zen Vivanto, Defendant II Ramadhania Ardiansyah Bakrie, Defendant III Anindra Ardiansyah Bakrie, sentenced to 1 year in prison each,” said presiding judge Muhammad Damis when reading the verdict at the Central Jakarta District Court, Jalan Bungur Besar Raya, Central Jakarta. , Tuesday (11/1/2022).

Drug Abuse

The presiding judge Muhammad Damis when reading the verdict confirmed that both of them were proven to have committed a crime of narcotics abuse. Drug abuse is said to be done together.

“The trial, stated that Defendant I Zen Vivanto, Defendant II Ramadhania Ardiansyah Bakrie, Defendant III Anindra Ardiansyah Bakrie were proven legally and convincingly guilty of committing a criminal act of participating in the misuse of narcotics class I for oneself which was carried out together,” said Damis when reading out decision letter at the Central Jakarta District Court, Jalan Bungur Besar Raya, Central Jakarta, Tuesday (11/1/2022).

Apart from the two of them, Nia’s driver, Zen Vivanto, was sentenced to the same sentence, namely prison. After being sentenced, Nia Ramadhani seemed to cry.
