Preacher and businessman Yusuf Mansur | plans to take legal action by reporting the plaintiffs to the police.
It is known, Yusuf was sued to the Tangerang District Court (PN) on suspicion of default against 12 people worth Rp. 785 million on December 10, 2021.
“My goal here to represent Yusuf Mansur is tocounter all the wild news that has turned into a wild ball as if this is an opinion that Yusuf Mansur is a fraud,” said Yusuf’s attorney, Deddy DJ at Polda Metro Jaya, Monday (10/1).
According to Deddy, Yusuf never committed or had the intention to commit fraud. However, the Paytren company founded by Yusuf is now being cornered.
Deddy explained that in this business, investors are asked to deposit Rp10-12 million as initial funds. However, the money will be returned within 10 years later.
“This means that this business is carried out by the people of the people and for the people. And the Rp12 million value will be returned 10 years later. Suddenly, Rp10 million, Rp12 million want to get it instantly. There is a process,” said Deddy.
“So it’s not true that the wild ball outside what Yusuf Mansur said is a fraud or a fraudulent business. This business is real, there are hotels, just waiting for the process,” he added.
However, Deddy has not disclosed who the parties will be policed by Yusuf. He only mentioned that one of them was the plaintiff.
“So later there will be three actors that I will report, including the plaintiffs who have received their money back but they participate in the opinion process as if this business doesn’t exist,” said Deddy.
