In particular, as early as the next few hours a’Arctic raid will be able to break through our country, bringing with it a abundant snow load that will fall copious even in the form of a storm due to strong winds, with flakes arriving on the plains and coasts.
And be careful, the particular weather conditions will put many regions at risk, snow accumulations are expected on many areas, even on the beaches!

The confirmation came a little while ago with the latest update. In detail; during the early hours of Sunday 9 January the entrance of very cold arctic air, descending from the northernmost sectors of the Old Continent, will feed a cyclone, then destined to deepen on the Tyrrhenian Sea.

The disturbance driven by the vortex will make its effects felt in the very early part of the morning in the North: in fact, the possibility of snowflakes on Piedmont, Lombardy (possible light snowfall on Milan, Bergamo, Brescia) ed Emilia. Then as the hours go by the weather will rapidly deteriorate from the Center to the South, with showers and thunderstorms even of high intensity and possible local hailstorms.
Be careful because this particular configuration, combined with the thermal drop and the intensity of rainfall, will favor the return of the name that will come back to be seen up to a very low altitude with the flakes pushed by strong winds from the North that could push up to the plains and on the beaches of Romagna, Market, Abruzzo e Molise with the possibility of accumulating a few cm even on beaches!
Also on the inland areas of Tuscany, Umbria e Lazio heavy snow is expected starting from 3/400 meters of altitude; we do not exclude that in some phases the flakes can go even lower, whitening cities like Perugia, Assisi, Arezzo e Rieti.
By the evening the worsening will be able to break through Basilicata and on the Puglia with snow from 500 meters on Murge and locally even lower, especially on the Gargano.
