In Arequipa, agents of the National Police of Peru (PNP), the Banking Section and the Department of High Technology (Depindat), saved a minor under 13 years of being abused by a subject who captured her through social networks with a fake name.
Is about Edgar Lizardo Cayllahua Huarca (19), who would have contacted the minor through Facebook with the false profile of ‘Andy Byersack Cornell‘, with which he claimed to be 16 years old.
As La República learned, the subject summoned the minor a few meters from the Los Bomberos oval, in the district of José Luis Bustamante y Rivero, with alleged intentions of taking her later to a hostel and committing sexual abuse.
The action would have been carried out had it not been for the victim’s mother noticing the messages between the two in Messenger. She went with her daughter to meet Cayllahua Huarca and, once there, called the Police, who immediately arrived and captured him.
The subject was detained to later be investigated by the alleged crime against sexual indemnity. They also found material of child sexual exploitation.
