But due to the coronavirus lockdown, the rats can no longer find food and, according to the New York rat expert Bobby Corrigan, this leads to bloody turf wars. “The rats are going to war!” Writes the Daily News. Because of their hunger, they are now marching into neighboring districts.
The expert tells the New York medium: “It’s just like we’ve seen it in human history, where people try to take land and they come with military and armies and literally fight to the death over who will conquer the country. ” In addition, the situation in the rats leads to cannibalism: “The adults kill the young in their nests and eat them.”
