New law allows non-citizens to vote in New York | Your Political City New York

The measure would allow non-citizens who have been lawful permanent residents of the city for at least 30 days, as well as individuals authorized to work in the US, including “Dreamers,” to help select the mayor of the city, city council members, county presidents, comptroller, and public defender.
