PANGKALPINANG, KOMPAS.TV The police arrested a grandmother with the initials NU (60). NU was arrested after finding a bag containing millions of rupiah.

The incident occurred in Pangkalpinang, Bangka Belitung Islands.

It is known, the bag belongs to Ety Mujiawati (48), a Civil Servant (PNS).

The arrest began because the grandmother was deemed to have no good faith to return.

NU was arrested by the police for spending money that did not belong to him.

Not only that, the bag and valuables in it were buried by NU behind his house in Semabung Pangkalpinang.

Head of Criminal Investigation Unit of the Pangkalpinang Police, AKP Adi Putra, said that the incident began when the victim was about to leave for work, not realizing that the bag she was carrying had fallen around Jalan Raya Sungailiat-Pangkalpinang, last Tuesday (12/28/2021) at around 09.45 WIB.

There is one unit in the bag smartphone gray color, cash amounting to Rp. 5.5 million, as well as securities such as Identity Card (KTP), Driver’s License (SIM), and Automated Teller Machine (ATM) card belonging to the victim.

Then, the victim made a missing report at the Pangkalpinang Police.
