“I think this is so, this is one of the goals of President Putin,” Blinken said, answering a question about Moscow’s desire to restore the world order that existed under the Soviet Union.
The Secretary of State specified that this means the restoration of Russia’s sphere of influence over the post-Soviet countries. He added that such an aspiration of Moscow is unacceptable.
